Well, my favorite piece technology is the laptop, because I think is very important for the universities student. (for example, in my case) and (mw)is a tool work(wt). I had my first laptop two year ago, when my mother bought a laptop hand second, but I thought it was the best… I was not care the laptop was hand second. I used the laptop In my house, sometimes I took it to my universities and my mother use the laptop when she works in your tesis of magister, and in the last time my father use it just to check his emails. In my personal case, I use the laptop every day because in my house it is my computer, I do not have a desktop. My little brother have the old desktop. Jajaja. I like so much my laptop, I can listen to my music in many places, I have all my pictures of my travels, I can work in the university or in the my friends house or classmates, and I can connect to internet in any place. Mmm it is a difficult question because this piece is my favorite for my about technology, but I think that my life not changed very much, my life would be the same…

Well… about my favorite photo or once photo that like me very much, I have 2 favorites photos, one is when I have two or three years old, but I do not remember so much but I think the my grand father took the picture in your house in Rancagua city, this photo I like very much because show me in black and white, and I did played whit a weight… I think that this picture bring back memories….

My other favorite photo was taken. Two or three years ago, when I traveled with my friends to the north of Chile, I myself take the photo inside the car. In this photo I look very well and the landscape was really beautiful,
I think that this photo is a favorite for me because this trip was very very funny… many good experience.
In that trip my friends was Vega, pajareri, oso and pechugon… this group is very fun.

Important information: I think the old picture in photograph paper is better than the new picture in digital, because I think it is not same look the picture in paper that look the photo in a screen

Well my favorite piece technology is the labtop, because is very important for the student of universities (in my case for example) and is a tool work.

18 of September, just in time

Well the 18 of September is the national day of Chile, all the country is happy and all the activities stop as colleges, school, work, universities etc. In Chile have two days the official holidays 18 and 19 of September, the school and universities have a once week the vacations. In these days all the country is a party and many many people are drunk.

These days the people eat “empanadas”, “asados”, “anticuchos” and drink red wine this is a very typical for 18 of September, also is a very typical make a roast with the family, as grandmother, grandfather, uncle, cousins all the family…
The young is typical go to beach as algarrobo, tongoy, el quisco or any other beach where feast, the most important is go to beach with many friends in special womens… this is very very important,

Mmm when I was a child I stay with my family or go to travel to field the my father or field the my uncle, always I step very well in the 18.

Nowadays I go to beach with all my friends, it is very likely that we go to algarrobo this 18, because in this place had a once free “fonda”, this is other element very important for decides where to go.

My favorite 18 was 2 years ago… was truly incredible.

My future.

Well, I think that in five years later I am will work in the government, and I hope work in political of the environments. But I think that in five year from now I will start to work, because I have many plans before star to work.
In the personality I am hope very good, and I would like to have a stable relationship, in addition I hope have my thinking clear about my professional and personality life.
I think that in five year later I live in Santiago, but I would like living in Vina del Mar, because y think this city is a good place for living, also I think that Vina is a just city for my, this city it is not a biggest, but it is not a city very small.
Well, my ideal future would be to finish my career and once post grade in foreign, and work with a good salary, and living with my girlfriend in the apartment. I know that this ideal future is difficult, but I therefore for this.

My history with the english.

Well my experience learning English start very well, because when I am a little boy I study in once English school, the name this school is a trewelas, but this are very difficult for me, in third grade changes the colleges.

In this moment of my life I like much learn English because I thing is very important for my future like geographer. As a result now enjoy learn English, after I do not like the other language in special English. About the some topic is very successful for my and my career, but in the immediate future I want to have a scholarship in the New Zealand, because this country is the most ecologist in the world.
I am a normal student for English, sometime I am a good student but sometime I am weak. Is relative depends the day.
For me the most easy about learn English is read, because I can understand the idea the text, instead write and speak is most difficult for me.
I do not know much about the English culture, but I know they are most liberals to us, in special the women’s. About other topic the English culture I know they are most cold and distant to us, also I know they are most civilized to us, and the cities are most clean and ordered to us.
I think that in this moment I can communicate in English, not conversations very complicated or topics very difficult, but I think I can understand.

The English is very useful for all the people, in special for us the geographers.

The problems associated with the climatic changes

In this time had many people live in the desert regions. The problem with this is the problem with this is principally the small amount of water.

Hi, my name is Francisco Podlech R, I live with my family in Santiago de Chile, my family have five persons, my parents, my little brother he is twelve years old, and my little sister she is six years old, and me.
the names of my relativesis are: Francisco my father, Deborah my mother, José Ignacio My brother and Maria Laura my little sister.

I study geography at the Universidad de Chile, this university is the best in the country, in the university I have many things to do, for example I play football with my friends, I study and make work with my classmates and with all friends and partners we drink in the picas every time we can.

I have many hobbies like talk with my friends look movies make sport in special go to jogging and play football; but my favourite hobby is play football and play in many place with much people, and I play two league, once the Tuesday and other the Sunday in two parts the game start at ten o’clock, in the past semester we were champions with my team. We win many things like Much Ron, once box the beers, medal and cup.

Well after taht much think, I can say I do not have once favorite song, I have many favorite songs, but I have groups favorites, such as Soda Stereo, the Prisioneros, Green day, the Offsprings; also I have singers favorite such as Ricardo Arjona, Amy Winehouse among others. But thinking good I once song taht like much, you are name is musica ligera, this song represent all the style about latin rock in the 80, this music style is the best for my, because is in my language. The music in english also i like, but has many song taht I do not understand, because my English is still very basic.
for to be very sincere I listen music in the radio, because I do not like much the ipod or diskman or mp3 etc. With music the radio I am very very good, I do not need more music.

In my case the experience with blogging has been very very good, in the first moment I can not make the blog because the principal page the blogs is very crazy… but after many opportunities I can make my first blog.
In my personality opinion the blog is very very funny and it serves to learn English interactive, and we can finish work the class in the home, when y can much more time.
Other things I like the blog is we can have photos that my personality favorite or my friend or my partner in the school or my partner the universities. I have photos anybody …
When the teacher Simon Higginson said “you are obliged to have blog” I can not understand…. I did not know what it was once BlogSpot, I think is impossible that I can approve this subject… I feel very discouraged jejejej, but after many class I can understand, and I said “I can approve this subject, I have only to study and was responsibility with the subject”.

Once my favorite post is the partner the classes called “Williams Alexis Ortiz” he has once post in where speak about the one game. This game is very real and the expectation for your presentation is incredible. He said “In october of the present year the most expected game of the year will be real”… I when read the post thinking “ this post is very long” my partner Williams (willy) know much about English, I can not make once post with this.

Why are you studying Geography?

I study geography because y want once career different, y don’t study once career saturated, I thinked “geography is what for my”, but with time in the university I can say what my option not have the best.

Why did you decide to study Geography?

In the beginning I liked the nature and weather, between I like the different people in the university. My classes, especially my classmate are very very nice. My dream in one moment was save the planet… I am very jackass when I think in this.

What will you be doing (professionally) in 10 years time?

I don’t know… this is the true, but I would like work in my own business, I am sure, very sure I have once business, for this I want study other career, for example administration the company.

How can geographers help save the planet?

We can help save the planet with more and more original ideas, with much work, with publication paper about problematic in the country and above all regions, the Chilean geographers are very good professionally, in comparison with geographers the America Latina.

What tools will the geographer of the future need to have?

The principal tools the geographers is the conscience for the environment, because I do not have conscience for the environment, our planet in the future will would lost. Other tool very important for geographers is the software called Arcgis, is the computation program very good.
